I suspect not many motorbikes got to this place in that year or any since;-)

I doubt it, it really was remote at the time. Soon after that I nearly stood on an Egyptian cobra, it had the grace to move away and so did I.

Well, there is a gap in the market. One can go to the Nile and teach elephants languages. Motorbike or motorboat are not the only options. How about washing machine?

How noisy does one want the bush?

If I remember properly, the bush is already a place full of many and various rackets. How many of them are due to elephants imitating other sounds I wonder?
